Dakini Sky, for Amplified Soprano and Large Orchestra (13-Limit Version)

from Acoustic Works Realized on Virtual Instruments by Scott William Perry

/

about

This version is different from the 24EDO version found here. The difference is that the quarter-tones are replaced with unequal frequency relationship fractions.

1/1, 9/8, 5/4, 4/3, 11/8, 3/2, 13/8, 7/4, 2/1 are the fractions of the acoustic mode employed in this piece. The only note you will find in 12ED2 in this piece is C, when A=440Hz. These fractions are subjected to a series of transpositions by 3/2 until a 3-Limit Tri-Tone (F-Sharp in Helmholtz/Ellis Just-Intonation Notation) is reached.

9/23/23, I updated the mix to increase the volume of the vocal and added reverb tails.
